Rare Form Tap Takeover at The Adirondack
It’s always great when a brewery not widely available in New York City comes down to do a special event or tap takeover. Coming up this Friday, August 21 at 8 p.m., Windsor Terrace watering hole The Adirondack will host Rare Form Brewing Company, out of Troy, NY.
Bar Co-Owner Paul Hamill notes that the lineup will include Saturday Sun DIPA, Earth to Troy Farmhouse Saison, Wee Plaid Scottish Ale, and Royal Toasted Coconut Cream Ale.
“They brew some good stuff,” Hamill says. “We’ll be doing flights and serving with bites to eat.”
Rare Form Brewing Company was opened just over a year ago by Kevin Mullen and Jenny Kemp. According to their website, “Our passion is to explore, invent and experiment within the realm of the ale.” They use fresh and local ingredients whenever possible.
We do love a cream ale!
The Adirondack is located at 1241 Prospect Ave in Brooklyn. Closest subways (one entrance is like, right in front of the bar) are the F & G train to Fort Hamilton Parkway. More info on Facebook here.
